Thank you for this excellent episode. I have been a fan of Susan Sullivan’s since the 70’s. Apart from my love of Carson’s Tonight Show, a huge takeaway from these conversations, is the realization of how self-critical we can all be. After decades of consuming the work, gameshow and talk show appearances of Ms. Sullivan’s, my impression had been that she was warm, down-to-earth, intelligent, charming, kind, wise, witty, informed, generous, self-aware, and more. All positive. In youth I believed the magnificent entertainers that enrich our lives, and I would definitely include Ms. Sullivan and Mark on that list, were somehow immune from self-doubt, insecurity and regrets. My admiration only grows as I realize how much artists overcome, daily, to bring us joy. Again, thank you. Best wishes.

What a witty, with-it woman. Good show Mark.
