Mark – I truly enjoy your show. You interview such interesting people. I agree with your interviewees when they mention how well prepared you are. It’s not because all of them have a tangent to Johnny Carson, but to their stories about others that are included.
I do need to mention a personal tangent. I’ve heard the 1971 earthquake mentioned in three different interviews so far. I remember that day well as we woke up to the earthquake. I lived in Southern California ~ Orange County. My family ran to the back yard as we had a built in pool. The water was sloshing back and forth like waves. We thought it was marvelous. It was also the day of my parents 13th wedding anniversary. They married in Las Vegas on February 9, 1958. About them – they had a wonderful marriage. They liked to poo poo the idea that getting married in Las Vegas was for marriages that might not last.
Thank you, again, for your work on the podcast. I look forward to it every week.
Thanks so much, Pat! Also for your insight into the 1971 earthquake. Its come up a few times I believe on the podcast.
