Barbra Shotel is an undiscovered treasure of broadcasting history and one of my dear friends. Just add it up: a pioneer in ‘talk show’ infancy – first woman Associate Producer of the Douglas Show, Talent Coordinator on the Tonight Show, lawyer, world traveler, sports organizer, photographer, docent, research educator and brilliant writer. I treasure this interview, put it in a time capsule.
